The Diocese of York is a family of 608 churches and 127 schools in 468 parishes committed to the praise of God through Jesus Christ and service to others, led and guided in their Christian faith and work by the Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu. He is supported by the Bishops of Hull, Whitby and Selby with the Archdeacons of the East Riding, York and Cleveland. The Diocese is administered from Diocesan House on the north side of York.
