Germinate Lecture 2017: Where you stand is how you lead

Tuesday 16 May, The Arthur Rank Centre, 10.30am-2.30pm, £10 (including all refreshments)

The challenges facing rural communities and churches require imaginative responses. Germinate Leadership helps lay and ordained leaders from all denominations to develop creative, entrepreneurial skills for effective rural church leadership.

The Germinate Lecture offers an annual opportunity to engage with someone at the forefront of developing effective Christian leaders. This year’s speaker is Canon Anne Tomlinson, Principal of the Scottish Episcopal Institute, who works within a team forming candidates for ordination and Lay Readership in the Scottish Episcopal Church. She has been a Deacon for 23 years and is passionate about equipping leaders for the task of collaborative mission.

This event is for anyone who is interested in the nature and exercise of leadership in the rural church. Whether you’re a clergy person, lay leader, involved in a rural church or just curious, we’d love to see you!
