6.45pm Walk of Witness with the Cross
from Parliament Street to York Minster
7.30pm Service in York Minster
ALL WELCOME TO EITHER OR BOTH EVENTS
A walk of witness will begin at 6.45pm from the centre of Parliament Street. We will carry a cross through the streets of the city, pausing twice for prayer. We will process to the Minster for the Ecumenical Service at 7.30pm. The service (which lasts about an hour) takes as its focus the descent of Jesus's body from the cross and laying in the tomb.
All are welcome to either parts of the event, or both.
