On the afternoon of Sunday 21st May, the Benefice of St Mary’s Haxby and St Nicholas’ Wigginton will be undertaking a Rogation-tide prayer walk.
Although this event is taking place on a Sunday, the hope is to meet people at their place of work / rest and offer them a chance to be prayed with.
The walk will start in front of St Mary’s church at 2:30 p.m. and will progress to Ethel Ward playing fields then back through the village, with a refreshment break at the Cottage Inn.Then continuing at 3:45 p.m. through Wigginton, finishing at St Nicholas Church at around 4:20 p.m.
