We invite you to join us for a memorable musical evening in the beautiful setting of Birdsall House, on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds.
Internationally renowned Cellist, Jamie Walton, will play Bach's Cello Suites 1, 2 and 3 in the Ballroom of Birdsall House and his recital will be followed by a reception in the Dining Room with wine and canapés. This event is arranged in support of the Bell Tower Appeal of All Saints Church, Burythorpe.
The West End of Burythorpe Church, with its 2 bells, is a local landmark visible for miles around. Constant weathering, necessitated vital and urgent repair of the bell-cote stonework in 2017. A generous interest-free loan of £10,000 from the Diocese of York, which helped the small church and village community to settle its £20,000 bill, must now be repaid.
Jamie Walton and Birdsall House are generously helping the church to do this by enabling this memorable event.
