The world-renowned William Jewell College Concert Choir from Kansas, Missouri, visits Selby Abbey on Wednesday 23rd May with a wide ranging concert programme drawn from European sacred music and American folk hymns and spirituals.

Conducted by Anthony Maglione, with Ann Marie Rigler playing the Abbey’s equally renowned Hill organ, the choir’s triennial UK tour this year includes Ely and Lincoln Cathedrals, St. Giles’s Cathedral, Edinburgh, and the University Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Oxford.

The concert, lasting approximately one hour, commences at 11.30am and admission is free.
