On Saturday 4th July 'More Than Gold' will be happening in Stewart Park. Lots of churches from across the Middlesbrough area (and from different denominations) are already getting involved and Bishop Paul is opening the event.
There will be a marching band, live music, crafts and games, the Christian message, puppets and much more...all organised and all free to anyone who comes along! In previous years this has been a wonderful opportunity to share God's love and God's love is the theme for 2015.
There are lots of ways your church can be involved:
- Put posters and encourage people to come along, it will be a great afternoon and free too!
- Some people from your church could come along as Stewards
- Would your church like to run a stall on the fringes of the event (the type of stall you run at your summer fair (i.e. tombola/treasure hunt/bat the rat etc.)
- Although the majority of the funding has already been raised, a contribution from you church towards this event would help (even as little £20 would be great)
