We Gather In are holding a Christian Music and Arts Festival on October 25th, 2014 at Jubilee Central on King Edward Street, Kingston upon Hull.
We are very excited to announce the following bands for our inaugural event:
Local band "The Threshold"(facebook.com/thethresholdmusic) are kicking us off with some of their original tracks as well as more well known songs.
Following on from The Threshold we have Leeds based band "Feeds" (www.wearefeeds.co.uk).Thirdly we have Sheffield based band "The Gentlemen" (www.the-gentlemen.co.uk) performing in what will be one of their FINAL gigs.Finally, we are thrilled to announce that Philippa Hanna (www.philippahanna.com) will be headlining this year. This multi-album artist originally from Sheffield is fast becoming one of the most popular Christian artists in the UK.
Along with the music on offer we have a range of workshops for event goers to attend and these are included in the ticket price.
Philippa Hanna will be hosting a music workshop open to all ticket holders (places are limited). We are also pleased to be able to offer other workshops including one on photography (run by local photographer Jerome Whittingham).
Finally, we will be hosting an art exhibition of work by local Christian and non-Christian artists to showcase the amazing talent we have in the city as we move towards 2017 and Hull's hosting the City of Culture for that year.
Tickets are £15 only are can be obtained from the We Gather In website. www.wegather.in The low price of £15 includes BOTH the afternoon and evening sessions as well as entry into the workshops and art exhibition.
Places are limited to 500 and we expect tickets to sell out fast as this represents amazing value so we suggest purchasing early to avoid disappointment!
