Howden Minster's Summer Concert Series draws to a close with a fabulous Opera Gala.
Joanna Moy, Laura Rafferty-Trow (sopranos), Andrea Campbell-Mapplebeck (mezzo-soprano), Jacob Walsh (tenor) and Michael De Costa (baritone) are joined by the Howden Community Chorus* accompanied by Matthew Collins.
Solos, ensembles and choruses from the great operas, including Carmen, La bohème, The Pearl Fishers, La Traviata are sung in a mixture of English and the original languages.
*If you wish to sing in the chorus, there is a rehearsal on the afternoon of the performance. For further details, email howdenminster@gmail.com.
