Come to Pocklington for a weekend of fun, frivolities, fancies and downright good fun as part of Littlefest 2015. All Saints Church is hosting the following events:
Dream On - Friday 24th and Saturday 25th April at 7.30pm.Dream On is an exciting and vibrant musical based on Shakespeare's timeless comedy, A Midsummer Night's Dream. It romps through the tangled web of love, fairy magic, and misunderstanding, with the help of a talented local cast and band and lots of catchy songs. Tickets are £7 and £6 from Pocklington Music, York Theatre Royal Box Office, or on the door. Refreshments will be available.
Classical piano concert by Vanessa Simmons - Sunday 26th April at 2pm to 3pmVanessa Simmons is a pianist, composer, singer, songwriter originally from Pocklington. Her compositions for piano are painted landscapes of mountains, waterfalls, starry skies. She is influenced by the poetry of Tennyson, Blake, Tolkien and Baudelaire. Her debut album 'Fragile Stars' is now selling in 14 countries. Join her for an relaxing hour of beautiful piano music which transcends time and space.
