Service Of Blessing Of Oils And Renewal Of Ordination Vows
The Archbishop invites all Clergy and Readers to the Service of Blessing of Oils and Renewal of Ordination Vows to be held at St. Hilda's Church, Grangetown, Middlesbrough
The Bishop of Beverley will preside at the service and is for those who, in conscience, could not renew their Ordination Vows together with women priests renewing their vows. The Archbishop will be preaching.
All Clergy are asked to robe and wear white stoles or choir dress. Readers are also invited to robe.
Members of your congregations are welcome to attend and there is a section of the liturgy where they will be invited to reaffirm their call to discipleship.
Oils for Baptism, Chrism and Healing may be collected in the usual way.
