There will be a Service of Peace and Reconciliation at St Laurence's Church, Scalby in the Scarborough Deanery on Sunday 3 July at 6.30pm. The church will be decorated with an exhibition of contemporary textiles inspired by the First World War. An exhibition about Scalby and Newby in WW1 and the 27 men on the churchyard war memorial will be held in the Church Rooms, 10am - 4pm, Friday 1 July - Sunday 3 July.
