St Helen and the Holy Cross, Sheriff Hutton 8/40 Weekend Celebrations
To celebrate the 80th birthday of Roy Thompson and his retirement after 40 years as Churchwarden, St Helen and the Holy Cross in Sheriff Hutton will be hosting a fun filled weekend.
On Saturday 1st July, from 6:30pm there will be a concert of popular jazz and folk music featuring:
- Oldish Spice
- 60's - 80's music from Nottingham's finest harmony choir
- Jersey's petethompsonjazz
- Folk music from the DRUMMERS
As well as a bar, bbq and raffle.
On Sunday 2nd July, from 2:30pm there will be afternoon tea in the churchyard followed by choral evensong at 4pm. With Revd Canon John Brown, Chairman of the Church Visitor & Tourism Association, preaching.
