On Sunday 2 July at St Helen's Church, Escrick, we will be celebrating the 160th anniversary of the consecration of the church and would like to invite everyone to join us on the day for all or part of the celebrations.

The programme is as follows:

  • 10.45 am Service to celebrate Church, Village and Estate, with Tuesday Singers and Celebration Singers.
  • 12.30 - 2.00 pm a sumptuous hog roast sandwich at The Parsonage Hotel and an opportunity to take part in heritage activities and listen to the church bells.
  • 3.30 pm Sung Evensong attended by the Bishop of Selby and the Archdeacon of York
