A Pilgrimage for the Diocese of York for young people, children and families and young people

From the 30th August to the 3rd September 2017 CandY are organising a pilgrimage that follows the story of one of our most famous local saints. Starting from Hinderwell, through the Esk Valley and finishing in Whitby Abbey, the route is 40 miles long and takes a couple of days, but you can opt in or out as much as you need. As well as the walking, each day will include fellowship, worship that is messy and for all ages and includes lunch and an evening meal.

As this is the second year for this pilgrimage larger numbers are expected, so please book early as numbers may be restricted. If you want to stay overnight(s) village halls and the guide house at Egton have been booked and there is also a list of other accommodation from hostels and campsites to bed and breakfasts that you can contact.

For more information about accommodation and other necessary details, please contact Sarah Weyell at sarah.weyell@zen.co.uk or Andy and Jo Bowden at aj.thewell@gmail.com
