Middlesbrough Interfaith Network presents an event to explore the role of Faith and Belief Groups in building and sustaining community resilience. This will include examples of local initiatives, workshops and networking. There will be information stands from key agencies including Public Health, MIND, Clinical Commissioning Group, C.A.B, Together Middlesbrough & HealthWatch.

It will take place on the 2nd October from 9.00am - 2.30pm at the Trinity Centre, North Ormesby.

During the event we will be announcing a small grants programme specifically for faith groups working in their communities in ways that strengthen community networks, contribute to health and well-being and helping people to help themselves.

The event is open to all faith (and none) and belief groups and individuals across Middlesbrough as well as to statutory agencies, voluntary & community sector organisations.

Key Note Speakers are Imam Alyas Karmani and Rt.Revd. Paul Ferguson, Bishop of Whitby
