Many churches across the Diocese rely on dedicated teams of people working together, often in trying circumstances.

Taking some time out together can provide valuable opportunities to enrich and enhance this experience. In 2018, Wydale is offering opportunities for teams of people who work together to come away from their everyday circumstances and to look together at different themes related to collaborative working.

Supported by the Diocesan Training Team, and particularly useful for benefice/parish LYCIG leadership teams, the vision for these days is to have a number of different teams from across the Diocese exploring team values and practices. There will be time for your team to work together as well as opportunities for you to meet other people and discuss the issues of team more generally. Mark and Helen will run these days together, combining Mark's experience of working on a church team with Helen's background as a personal development consultant, with the aim of providing useful and enjoyable days for your team. The first of these days will focus on teamworking - looking at the theory and practice of working with people who, strange as it seems, don't appear to approach things in the way that we do...
