Archbishop Sentamu’s 6-month Pilgrimage of Prayer, Witness and Blessing continues next week in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds, where he will be meeting people in and around the market town of Driffield from 2- 7 February 2016.

The Archbishop said: “I have been amazed by the people that I have met on my Pilgrimage. It has been a joy and a delight to get to know them better, and to encourage them in prayer and in person. From Butterwick to Weaverthorpe, Burton Agnes to Thixendale, I hope you can join me next week. See you on the road!”

On Tuesday 2nd February, Archbishop Sentamu will lead 9am prayers at St Peter’s Church Langtoft and following this is to visit B & F Potatoes Ltd and Bannisters Farm Shop. In the afternoon, he will journey to Kings Mill Special School to spend time with pupils and staff. Later, he is to talk to 2nd Driffield Scouts about ‘being the change they want to see’ and serving others.

On Wednesday 3rd February, Archbishop Sentamu is to meet with parents and guardians as they drop off pupils at Driffield Church of England Infant School before walking to All Saints Church for 9.30am prayers. He is also calling in at Burton Agnes Church of England Primary School to lead prayers with pupils and staff.

Later in the week, the Archbishop will be joining the Coffee Break Praise in Middleton on the Wolds, visiting Garton on the Wolds Primary School, leading Prayers at All Saints Driffield and calling in at Driffield Rugby Club, who field 4 senior teams in addition to junior age teams. The Archbishop will also be walking around Thixendale on Saturday afternoon – all are welcome to join him.
