Lythe CVCE school celebrated the unveiling of the stunning "Angel of Lythe" wooden sculpture. The school commissioned the Angel from a tree donated by Lord Normanby. Ed Elliott, the nationally known sculptor, worked in a barn next to the school so that the children could watch it appear. The sculpture stands inside the school grounds and is large enough to be visible from the road. Bishop Paul, Bishop of Whitby, came to unveil and bless it, followed by a service of Worship. Warmly, Josephine (priest on Mulgrave Benefice)
