‘Called to Lead’ is a new video produced by the Dioceses of West Yorkshire and the Dales, York and Sheffield, to encourage more young people to consider ordination.

The Revd Dav Mann, York Diocesan Advisor on Vocations, said, “In the Diocese of York today, 19 out of the 50 people training to be clergy are aged under 30. We’re on the move! Watch this video and do get in touch.”
Churches are encouraged to show the film to relevant groups, as well as making them aware of the following websites:
- Call Waiting – an initiative to help identify and encourage Christians aged 13-30 to consider ordained ministry.
- Step Forward - A day in York (7 March) for anyone aged 18-30 considering ordained ministry in the Church of England.
- Yorkshire Priest – an appeal for more priests to consider serving in Yorkshire.
