Cawood CofE Primary School has been given the ‘Outstanding’ grade in its recent SIAMS inspection.

SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) evaluates the distinctiveness and effectiveness of the school as a Church of England school, and complements the Ofsted inspections of Church Schools.

The SIAMS inspector for Cawood CofE Primary School said the commitment and understanding of the headteacher, staff and governors ensure that a distinctive Christian character drives and underpins the practice and policy of the school, and there is an obvious sense of care and belonging of everyone to a worshipping community.

Congratulations to all at Cawood CofE Primary School!
