The Diocese of York is pleased to announce that Paul Bramley, head teacher of St Francis of Assisi Church of England Primary School at Ingleby Barwick, is to deliver the third ‘Cleveland Matters’ address on Wednesday 11 May 2016 at 7pm in St Barnabas’ Church, Middlesbrough – all are welcome to attend.

Paul Bramley is to speak about his experiences gained through his career in teaching and leadership. This third talk forms part of a series; the previous ‘Cleveland Matters’ talks were given by the Archbishop of York and the Bishop of Hull, the Rt. Revd. Alison White.

The Rt. Revd. Paul Ferguson, Bishop of Whitby and Chair of the Diocesan Board of Education, said, "our schools have enormous potential, and it’s also a time of challenge and change because of all the things that are happening in education generally throughout the country. Whether or not there is a church school on your doorstep, I hope that people from parishes will want to come and hear Paul Bramley, who is coming to the end of his time as head, having led St Francis’ for a number of years. We are promised a stimulating and informative evening, and I look forward to welcoming people from across the Archdeaconry".

This is a free event and everyone is most welcome to attend.
