‘It’s Not Okay’ is a joint initiative between York Safeguarding Children Board and the NSPCC to raise awareness and understanding about child sexual abuse and exploitation. To support the campaign, there will be a free seminar on Tuesday 24 May titled 'Supporting local communities to respond to the issue of child sexual abuse'.

The seminar will be delivered by Cate Meredith and Helen Westerman from the NSPCC and Louise Kelly from City of York Council. It is particularly relevant to voluntary and community groups, faith organisations and community leaders.

Registration from 1pm with the seminar starting at 1.30pm. It will finish by 4.30pm
