Eight people from the Diocese of York were ordained to the Priesthood at York Minster yesterday.
At the morning service, Richard Battersby, David Charlton, Ben Doolan, Jackie Doyle-Brett, Aian Macpherson, and John Telford were ordained by Archbishop Sentamu. In the evening service, Richard Brown and Christopher Johnson were ordained by the Rt Revd Glyn Webster, Bishop of Beverley.
