As part of our desire to engage with both our local community and with the democratic process we've arranged for the Prospective Parliamentary Candidates for the York Central seat at the General Election to attend a hustings meeting on Tuesday April 14th at 7.45 pm in Archbishop Holgate’s School Hall. All candidates have been invited and have indicated their willingness to attend. There will be light refreshments available from 7:15pm.

The event is open to everyone, but it would be especially good to see lots of young people, perhaps first time voters, engaging with the political process. The recent Scottish Referendum was a clear indicator of the political passion young people can hold.

We would be grateful if you would publicise the event widely to your congregations. Please find below a poster, for York churches to display.
