Sunday 16th July is Rural Mission Sunday
This is a day for celebrating all the work of small rural churches. Often times, these smaller communities can be cast into shadow by the larger urban churches who often have more resources and people power....
But there is no small part to play in the Kingdom of God.
'A single day in your courts is better than a thousand anywhere else! I would rather be a gatekeeper in the house of my God than live the good life in the homes of the wicked.' - Psalm 84:10
This year's theme is hospitality; it is a theme which now seems more pertinent than ever. So let us celebrate, with hospitality, all that rural churches do for their communities and for the Kingdom.
