Sand Hutton CE VC Primary School has been given the ‘Outstanding’ grade in its recent SIAMS inspection.
SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) evaluates the distinctiveness and effectiveness of the school as a Church of England school, and complements the Ofsted inspections of Church Schools.
The SIAMS inspector for Sand Hutton CE VC Primary School said there are "Excellent relationships in this Christian community built on love, care, respect and responsibility", and "Strong and supportive links between the school, the church and the community which enable the school’s distinctive character to grow".
