Its Green Month at St Luke's Church in York packed with activities to help us focus on lifestyle, individually and as an Eco-Church.
A plant based vegan lunch on 6th May was followed by a showing of the film 'The Age of Stupid' which takes a hard hitting look at the damage humans do to the environment and what we need to do about it.
Assessing our food waste, encouraging everyone to measure their carbon footprint, making a bug hotel, bee friendly planting in the church garden and collecting ring pulls from drinks cans for a social project in the Phillipines are just some of the green activities taking place this month.
