It is with regret that we announce that the Revd John Harris-Douglas died on Friday 3 July. Mr Harris-Douglas was Vicar of Brafferton with Pilmoor and Myton on Swaledale from 1979 until his retirement in 1997, and held the Archbishop’s Permission to Officiate thereafter. Mr Harris-Douglas was aged 81 and is survived by his wife Gillian.
