Thorp Arch Lady Elizabeth Hastings CE VA Primary School has been given the ‘Outstanding’ grade in its recent SIAMS inspection.
SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) evaluates the distinctiveness and effectiveness of the school as a Church of England school, and complements the Ofsted inspections of Church Schools.
The SIAMS inspector for Thorp Arch Lady Elizabeth Hastings CE VA Primary School said this welcoming Christian community is grounded in Christian values, which enables children to become confident individuals and achieve well. Strong leadership and good governance ensures the Christian character of the school permeates all school life, and prayer is a strong feature of the worshipping life of this school, nurturing the spiritual development of the whole community.
