Wilberfoss CE VC Primary School has been given the ‘Outstanding’ grade in its recent SIAS inspection.
SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) evaluates the distinctiveness and effectiveness of the school as a Church of England school, and complements the Ofsted inspections of Church Schools.
The SIAMS inspector for Wilberfoss School said that children in the school thrive and make good progress in their lessons and in their personal development and talk enthusiastically about religious education because the planning and delivery is excellent. Links with the local church are close and enrich children’s experience of the life of their church.
