House for Duty Priest

The Headlands Benefice

(Flamborough, Bempton & Reighton w Speeton)

Our coastal villages are seeking a new Priest in Charge who will lead us forward in mission and ministry as we seek to serve our communities and develop our churches. We have previous experience of having a House for Duty priest and a strong Ministry Team to work alongside you and offer support. We are seeking someone who will:

  • Enjoy welcoming people into our churches and communities
  • Have a flexible approach to working and delegate to others.
  • Help the benefice to grow and support one another.
  • Be flexible in worship but sensitive to existing traditions.
  • Be a good communicator and teacher, both in church and in the wider community.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who feels called to be here with us in our journey with Christ. We hope and pray that this opportunity may appeal to you.

We offer a four bedroom Vicarage in Flamborough, which is close to the larger town of Bridlington, in exchange for two days plus Sunday duties.

Informal enquiries are welcome. Please contact:
