The Revd Dr David Goodhew, Director of Ministerial Practice at Cranmer Hall, St John’s College, University of Durham, is to be Vicar of the Benefice of Linthorpe, Middlesbrough. He will be collated by the Bishop of Whitby at St Barnabas, Linthorpe at 2.30pm on Sunday, 7th July 2019.

The Revd Lindsey Goodhew (Ellin), Associate Minister and Student Worker at St Nicholas, Durham, is to be Associate Minister (SSM) in the Benefice of Linthorpe, Middlesbrough. She will be licensed by the Bishop of Whitby at St Barnabas, Linthorpe at 2.30pm on Sunday, 7th July 2019.

The Revd Glen Hocken, formerly Chaplain at HMP Morland in the Diocese of Sheffield, has been appointed as Chaplain to HMP Wealstun. He will be licensed by the Archdeacon of York at 10.00am on Monday, 25th February 2019 at 1 New Lane, Huntington, York.

The Revd Emmanuel Masih, Curate of Milton, St James, is to be Priest-inCharge of Middlesbrough (Ascension). He will be licensed by the Bishop of Whitby at Middlesbrough, The Ascension, at 7.00pm on Monday, 25th March 2019, the Feast of the Annunciation.

The Revd Jane Speck, Chaplain to King’s College, London in the Diocese of Southwark has been appointed Chaplain to York St John University. She was licensed by the Archbishop of York in Bishopthorpe Palace on Wednesday, 30th January 2019.

The Revd Jacki Tonkin, Curate of Langtoft with Foxholes, Butterwick, Cottam and Thwing, and of Great and Little Driffield, is to be Priest-in-Charge (House for Duty) of the Waggoners Benefice. She will be licensed by the Bishop of Hull at St Mary, Sledmere at 7.30pm on Tuesday, 14th May 2019. She will retain her post as Area Dean of Harthill Deanery.


The Revd Glenda Webb, Curate of Brayton, has been appointed as Curate (SSM) of Askham Bryan, Copmanthorpe, and Bolton Percy with Colton. She was Licensed by Bishop David Smith on behalf of the Bishop of Selby at All Saints, Bolton Percy on Sunday, 3rd February 2019.
