Angela has always enjoyed seeing people grow in faith and in their sense of what God is calling them to be.
She loves helping people to learn what they want to learn about being followers of Jesus and sharing the joy of the Christian gospel where they are.
She was a deaconess minister in parishes in Herne Bay, Kent before moving to the Diocese of York in 1988. She has worked in University and Mental Health chaplaincy in Hull and in some lovely parishes near Beverley. In parishes she has enjoyed working with children in the primary schools, among other things. She spent five years in Middlesbrough as a member of the Training Team in Cleveland Archdeaconry. Angela also works as a tutor in our diocesan York School of Ministry and has trained Recognised Parish Assistants almost from the beginning of that programme.
Amongst other things she enjoys cycling in the East Yorkshire Wolds and running on the coast (and knitting!).
