SUMMARY:RE Subject Leaders Network Meeting
DESCRIPTION:A termly online network to support RE leaders in Diocese of York Church schools. All sessions are held via Zoom. \nPLEASE NOTE – OUR SESSIONS ARE ONLY FOR THOSE WORKING IN AND WITH CE SCHOOLS IN THE DIOCESE OF YORK \nThe network provides: \n• updates about RE locally and nationally \n• support for subject knowledge \n• support in developing an effective RE curriculum \n• updates on resources \n• sharing of good practice \nCost \n\nThis package is provided free of charge for schools in the service level agreement [SLA]\nThere is a charge of £30 per session for schools not in the SLA\nBooking is via Eventbrite\n\nZoom details to join the session will be in the confirmation that follows after booking and you will also be sent a reminder once bookings close (you will be able to access them in your account at any time). DESCRIPTION:The Diocese of York Annual Education Conference for School Leaders\, MAT CEOs\, Clergy\, and Governors.  \nAn opportunity for Heads\, Senior Leaders\, Teachers\, and Governors in the Diocese of York to get together. \nThe Annual Education Conference takes place on Friday 19th June 2026\, 9.00am – 3.30pm at Burn Hall Hotel\, Tollerton Road\, Huby\, York\, YO61 1JB \nLifting Every Voice\nThis year\, we have planned the conference to align with your EDIJ journey as a school\, with the conference not being a one-off event but part of your ongoing CPD. \nOur conference this year will include three excellent speakers: \n \nChelsea Mac Donnchadha\nSenior Researcher and Gypsy\, Roma\, and Traveller people rights advocate \n \nRita Yoe\nYouth and Children Engagement Manager\, Difference Course\, Reconciling Leaders Network \n \nEmily Norman\nHead of Curriculum and Inclusion at the National Society for Education. \nThere will also be a return of our popular panels from last year. \nPlease do join us if you can. \nCost: £70 which has been subsidised with a grant from the Racial Justice Unit (includes a 2-course lunch) \nPlease book your place as early as possible to help us with the organisation of the event.
