This links particularly to governors’ core functions of ensuring clarity of vision\, ethos and strategic direction and supporting leaders and holding them to account. \nThis session explores: \n\nThe development of theologically rooted Church school vision\nExploring how the Church school vision drives provision\nThe principles of effective governance in a Church school with a particular emphasis on effective monitoring and evaluation strategies.\n\nThis session is held online via Zoom. \nDate \n• Tuesday 1st December 2026\, 6.00pm-8.30pm \nCost \n• These sessions are provided free of charge for schools but booking is required via Eventbrite \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:These hour-long sessions are intended to be responsive to local and national agendas which schools and leaders are facing from both a distinctiveness and effectiveness perspective. Education Team Officers will provide a question and answer session to meet the current needs of school leaders. \nNo booking is required – All sessions are held online via Zoom with details for each session being circulated in the Monday email. \nThere is just 1 session each term so we would encourage school leaders to attend if they can. \nCost \n\nThis package is provided free of charge for schools in the service level agreement
