During the session\, you will learn how to: choose and use a large language model (LLM) tool; write clear and effective prompts; use AI to support practical church\, work\, and personal tasks; work with documents and data safely; and identify useful ways AI could support you in your role. \nThis is a hands-on session focused on the basics of using AI. We will not have time to explore the wider ethical questions around whether or how AI should be used\, or its environmental impact. \nPlease read the diocesan AI policy and guidance before attending. You will need access to an AI tool\, such as ChatGPT\, Microsoft CoPilot\, or Google Gemini\, so that you can take part in the practical exercises. Please create or access an account before the webinar begins. A step-by-step guide is available for anyone who has not used one of these tools before: AI Account Setup Guide  No previous experience of AI is needed.

SUMMARY:Introduction to Racial Justice course - 4 sessions

The course contains six units\, each with video input from the Curriculum and Inclusion team as the NSE alongside discussion and application in our online sessions together. The course also provides some recommended reading to enhance learning. \nThe course is ENTRY LEVEL and assumes no previous learning about racial justice. It is an eight-session group-based course that explores what the Bible is and the story it tells. For each session\, there are two 15-minute films to watch\, and a manual provides summaries of the key points\, space to take notes and discussion questions. \nThe Bible Course: Schools Edition also provides additional reflections about how the session content relates to working or leading in a church school and also links to Understanding Christianity and the SIAMS framework\, so that staff in church schools can gain a deeper understanding of the Bible and how to apply its wisdom to the work in their school. \nThe course will involve meeting with other school leaders in eight\, one-hour online Zoom sessions to discuss the materials for each session and share thoughts and reflections in a safe\, confidential forum. \nDate / Time \nThis course begins on Thursday 14th January\, 2027 / 4.00 – 5.00pm and will run fortnightly on a Thursday at 4pm for a total of 8 sessions (with adjustments made for school holidays) \nCost \n\nThis package is provided free of charge for schools in the service level agreement [SLA]\nBooking is via Eventbrite\n\n
