Speakers include The Rt Revd Michael Curry\, Sonia Thompson\, Emily Owen\, and The Rt Revd Jill Duff. \nMeet our speakers \nRead the programme \nDownload the worship booklet \nOur conference theme: Called and Sent\nOur conference theme\, Called and Sent\, reminds us who we are and why we are here. By the Spirit\, God calls each of us into life with Christ\, not as spectators but as participants in his story. We are gathered to listen again to that call – to be rooted in Jesus\, changed by grace\, and renewed in hope. And we are sent outwards\, into parishes\, schools\, chaplaincies\, and communities\, to share the good news of God’s Kingdom. DESCRIPTION:An opportunity for retreat in the beautiful setting of Wydale Hall.\n\n\nRetreat Day\nfor Headteachers \nPLEASE NOTE – OUR SESSIONS ARE ONLY FOR THOSE WORKING IN AND WITH CE SCHOOLS IN THE DIOCESE OF YORK \nWydale Hall\, Scarborough \n9.30am – 3.30pm \nAn opportunity for retreat in the beautiful setting of Wydale Hall\, in order to reflect\, share and worship together as Church School headteachers. \nThe aim of the day is to enable you to take some time out and step aside from the usual routine\, to be refreshed and recharge your batteries in the beautiful surroundings of Wydale Hall. \nThe day will include some time for: \n– Practical activities \n– Reflection \n– Personal choice \n– Worship \nAn important part of the day is that all activities are optional\, and that time to relax and reflect is time well spent in terms of Headteachers feeling revitalised and refreshed. Therefore\, please do not feel under any obligation to join in if you would simply like some ‘time out’. \nThis event is not free. The cost is £50 which includes a buffet lunch. There is no need to print the ticket. An invoice will follow shortly after the event. \nBooking for this event will close on 17th April. \nPlease note our cancellation policy\, which is in the confirmation that you will receive upon booking. \n
