A Community Engagement Officer with heritage expertise is sought for an exciting project involving the conservation of the world famous medieval stained glass windows at All Saints Church, North Street, York.

The church has received a major grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund for the project, which will support a three year activity programme to engage the wider public with the heritage of the building.

The Community Engagement Officer will oversee the interpretation, learning resources, volunteering, training, placements, partnerships, managing visits and marketing, including the development of the website.

The role is a part time (0.6/equivalent 3 days per week, two of which will be on site in York) fixed term contract ending June 2023.

The role is subject to a DBS check and will require occasional evening and weekend hours.

Salary £15,000 (pro rata)
