We are looking for an experienced information analyst with a proven track record of delivering insights who shares in our passion to enable spiritual and numerical growth in the church. You will have strong analytical skills and a flair for communication, engaging with a range of stakeholders to support strategic decisions.
The Diocese of York takes in much of North and East Yorkshire, an area which includes the cities of York and Hull, as well as Middlesbrough and Selby. Based at our modern, open plan office at Clifton Moor in York, our diocesan teams provide services to support the ministry and mission of our clergy, churches, parishes and schools.

New initiatives are under way, making this a challenging and exciting time to be part of our work.
Our strategy programme has highlighted the need to create this new role, aimed at generating fresh insights from the data we have, and identifying the further data we need. The role involves creating and aligning master datasets, developing information dashboards, posing challenging questions and sharing fresh insights across a range of Subjects. At present this a for an 18-month fixed-term contract, to cover a period during which we will review our long-term needs.
