Are you ready to answer the call to rural ministry from Viking Villages to Howardian Hills? The half-time role as Rector of the Howardian Group is one of the clergy opportunities we currently have in some of the fantastic communities in rural North and East Yorkshire surrounding the historic city of York.
The Benefice of the Howardian Group is made up of five well-kept churches (some listed, and dating back to the 11th century) in five parishes in a deeply rural setting in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With the stately home Castle Howard located here, the area is popular with tourists. Straddling the A64 road, there are excellent connections to Leeds, York and the incomparable East Coast. A wide tradition of worship styles is offered.
