By the end of March this year Anthony Ford will have been the conductor of HBC for fifty years. He came to Hull as a
young University Music Lecturer in 1966. In 1969 he was invited to succeed Denis Arnold as conductor of the Bach Choir.

Under his direction, the Choir has performed over a hundred major works by Bach, Handel, Purcell, Haydn, Beethoven, Mozart and many more.

We hope you will join us to celebrate this momentous achievement at the Hummel and Schubert concert on March 30th.
