Join St Andrew's Church in Kirby Grindalythe for a fantastic concert from London Symphony Orchestra flautist Amy-Jayne Milton on 14th June 2019 at 7pm. Tickets are £12.50 including a glass of wine and all proceeds go towards the church funds.
The parish of St. Andrew, Kirby Grindalythe, in the Wolds Valley Benefice, has a population of just over 100 people. A year ago, Amy-Jayne Milton became a member of the PCC, fitting in services and meetings in between travelling the world as a flutist in the London Symphony Orchestra. What an amazing difference this has made to the PCC, and her ideas and enthusiasm have been such an encouragement to the rest of the PCC.
Amy-Jayne’s latest idea is wonderfully ambitious, to put on a world class concert in St. Andrew’s Church. She wants to host a spectacular evening where her trio, Trilogy will perform a combination of solo and chamber music works. Just imagine listening to that wonderful music in such a stunning location with its beautiful Italian mosaic of the ascension of Christ.
