Designed for ALL Governors in Church of England schools and academies, these sessions explore the distinctive nature of Church schools and the special responsibilities of Church school Governors (including Foundation Governors). We introduce you to the Anglican school inspection framework (SIAMS) and show how governors can contribute to effective self-evaluation of Church schools.

To book a place on the East Riding sessions, please use their usual booking systems (East Riding schools) or contact the Governor Support Team on 01482 392020 or email ils.courses@eastriding.gov.uk(other schools).

Please note that East Riding make a small charge for attendance at the Effective Governance sessions to cover the cost of providing the venue (if you stay for the SIAMS session below, this supplementary session will be free).
