Using the Archbishops' Council's Practice Guidance ‘Key Roles and Responsibilities of Church Office Holders’, this session will explore the expectations and challenges of parish safeguarding roles and in particular incumbents, churchwardens, parish safeguarding officers and PCC members.
This will be an interactive session with participants encouraged to bring their questions to aid and inform the discussion.
Speaker Jenny Price is Safeguarding Trainer and Volunteer Coordinator for the Diocese of York, with previous experience as a Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser and Local Authority safeguarding lead for schools.
