‘Germinate Enterprise’ is a programme designed by experienced business and social enterprise entrepreneurs that will help you think through how to start a business or social enterprise especially if located in a rural area.

This one-day workshop is a fast-moving version of the full programme suitable for:

  • Anyone considering starting a business
  • Anyone interested in becoming a facilitator/trainer willing to guide others through the process of starting-up or developing an enterprise
  • Representatives of organisations in rural areas that may be willing to host ‘Germinate Enterprise’ workshops, e.g. church groups, rural charities, etc.

The course will be led by Jerry Marshall, CEO of Germinate. He was a self-employed marketing consultant who took on partners, incorporated, set up an additional technology business, a charity, and another not-for-profit business. In 2012 he co-founded a business in Bethlehem to create jobs, skills and links across the political divide: “Transcend” now has 100 staff serving Israeli and Palestinian customers.

Cost: Thanks to grant support from the Prince's Countryside Fund the cost is £5 per person including all refreshments and lunch.

Places are limited at this subsidised event: book now to be sure of your place!
