An invitation to the Headland Benefice Pilgrimage 2018.

Last year’s Headland Pilgrimage was much appreciated and so we are planning a third one this year. As last year, the Pilgrimage is set in the context of a single service which will begin at Reighton, continue at both Speeton and Bempton and conclude at Flamborough with Holy Communion. The 10 mile journey can be done on foot, by car or a mixture of the two. You can do the whole pilgrimage or join just for any part; the choice is yours, but please be realistic about what you know you can accomplish on foot. Lunch will not be until 1.30 pm so if you think you will be hungry take a bit of something to eat on the way.

Itinerary *
9.45am Service begins at Reighton, St Peter's
9.50am Journey to Speeton begins
11.00am Service continues at Speeton, St Leonard's

Lists are available at the back of each church from 8th July for you to sign up if you would like to take part in any way. Numbers will be required for the lunch at Bempton but there is no charge. Offers of help with transport will be essential if this event is to succeed! All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult and all dogs must be on leads and well behaved.

* Times are approximate depending on abilities and number of walkers
