Peace perspectives and faith
Refreshments from 4.30pm for 5.00pm start; meeting concludes at 6.30 pm.
The speakers (Sam Donaldson, supported by Arthur Spurr, Daad Armoush and Gerard Burns) will present views on how to work for peace in this world.
Quaker Sam Donaldson will be speaking on living out his faith as a peace activist. Arthur speaks from an Humanist tradition, Daad speaks from a Muslim perspective, and Gerard from the Roman Catholic tradition.
Speakers will be allocated a maximum of an hour between them, leaving half an hour for the perspectives of others to be shared.
