The campaign allows people to make a donation to the Hospice to dedicate a light on all four of the St Leonard’s Hospice Christmas trees. Each name will be recorded in the Books of Honour which will be placed in the Sanctuary at the Hospice, Selby Abbey and Easingwold Methodist Church where they will be displayed over the Christmas period.

The four Christmas trees are in St Helen’s Square in York, Selby Abbey, the Hospice grounds and Easingwold Market Place and each will bear hundreds of twinkling lights. The lights will shine until Twelfth Night.

The trees will be illuminated at three very special Carol Services. The first is in Easingwold on Wednesday 27th November at 7:00pm, the second is in St Helen’s Square, York on Sunday 1st December at 6:30pm and at Selby Abbey on Sunday 8th December at 4:00pm. Members of the public are warmly invited to attend any of these services.
