This session is led by two people with good experience to share: The Ven. John Day is the Archbishop’s Adviser in Mission Strategy and Church Revitalisation and Priest-in-Charge of St Chad’s, York. In his ministry he has launched 4 new congregations offering a different style of worship growing out of new activities, structures and pastoral care within a ‘traditional’ parish setting. The Revd Christian Selvaratnam leads the G2 church, a satellite congregation of St Michael le Belfrey in York as well as overseeing Alpha UK until recently. He has experience of both starting new congregations and of church planting, (Due to its popularity, this is a repeat of a session previously held in York in March 2019
